June 2005 the Council of Ministers approved the Decision
Nr. 435, date 23.06.2005 "Confirmation of list for
equipments that use dissolved Ozone forbidden to be
fabricated and imported and methods and procedures
followed in order to replace this element from
equipments in use". During February - March 2006
they approved by specific laws the amendments of
Copenhagen, Paris, London and Montreal, as part of
Montreal Protocol. Albania is implementing some projects
with the assistance of the implementing agencies like UNEP
and UNIDO aiming to complete the tasks of Montreal
Protocol.

The projects are as follow:

The National plan has projected the establishment of three
centers for recycling and recovering process, and therefore,
for that aim will be distributed necessary equipments for
appropriate practice of recycling service and recovering process.
The main objective is minimizing of consumption R-12 through
recycling and recovering process of this substance while maintaining
and reparation of air refrigerators and air conditioners. A considerable
amount of the used R-12 will be removed after project implementation.
For this project arrived equipments for Recycling and Regeneration Centre
and are in delivery process
